Loose anagen hair syndrome

Loose anagen hair syndrome is non-inflammatory hereditary pattern of hair loss  with diffuse thinning of scalp hair in which anagen hairs may be easily and painlessly pulled from the scalp. Trichogram from pull test usually shows about 90% to be anagen hairs. A high percentage of patients with loose anagen hair syndrome have spontaneous improvement of symptoms without treatment.
